
Casey Vanden Heuvel

Experienced and knowledgeable in strategic business planning, communications, project management and business operations/logistics, Casey has followed a diverse career path.

Casey has been consulting since 2014 working on a wide variety of projects and with several non-profit organizations. Since the start of 2020, Casey has worked on numerous projects involving business planning, feasibility studies and research/outreach to build strategic plans.

In 2019, Casey supported the start-up of Indigenous Tourism Alberta designed to support and grow authentic Indigenous tourism in Alberta. Casey also invested three years as Director of Development and Partnerships at the Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada after spending four years leading the team as the Executive Director of the award-winning Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre in Whistler, BC.
Casey enjoyed the excitement of directing the communications and media strategy for Tourism Whistler during the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Casey started his career with 15-years at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment in Toronto working in marketing, media relations and team operations.
